If your desired class time is full, you may add your child to the waitlist.
Each gymnast will only be allowed to sign up for a maximum of three waitlists. In order to be added to the waitlist, or to switch the days they are waiting for, you must fill out the form below. *Gymnasts may not be added to the waitlist for the next level up, unless approved by a coach.
When a spot opens up we will call you to schedule a free trial class. Your spot will be held for 24 hours and after that we will move down the waitlist and try again when another spot opens up.
If we attempt to contact you on two separate occasions for an open spot and do not receive a response on two separate occasions, you will be removed from the waitlist.

IV. CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Toddler:
Children 12 months - 36 months with their parents/guardians attend a class full of obstacle courses and fun learning activities. This exciting class teaches our littlest athletes to learn and develop the foundation of basic gymnastics skills, essential motor skills, strength, agility, balance, listening skills, and social skills.
Gymmini:
This 45 minute class is for preschool boys and girls ages 3-4 years old. They will have a class full of obstacle courses, stations, and fun learning activities. In this class our little athletes will be introduced to the basics of gymnastics, as well as building on listening skills and social skills. Gymnasts will also begin to focus on strength, flexibility, agility, balance, and the overall routine of our gymnastics gym.
Beginning I:
This class is for girls ages 5-7 years old. In the beginning level, gymnasts will learn the fundamentals of gymnastics skills on the women’s apparatuses which include Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor. These young athletes will have a chance to build up their strength, flexibility and agility through progressions and drills which are a very important part in this level. Some of the basic skills they will learn include cartwheels, handstands, bridges, bridge kick-overs, pull-overs, cast, balancing skills, running, jumping, and leaping. Compared to USAG levels 1-2.
Beginning II:
This class is for girls ages 8 and up. In the beginning level, gymnasts will learn the fundamentals of gymnastics skills on the women’s apparatuses which include Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor. These young athletes will have a chance to build up their strength, flexibility and agility through progressions and drills which are a very important part in this level. Some of the basic skills they will learn include cartwheels, handstands, bridges, bridge kick-overs, pull-overs, cast, balancing skills, running, jumping, and leaping. Compared to USAG levels 1-2.
Intermediate:
In our intermediate level, the girls will learn new and exciting skills that will increase in difficulty. The athletes will learn a deeper understanding of gymnastics while increasing their vocabulary and knowledge of the sport. Some skills that they will learn in this level are round-offs, backbends, back walkovers, back hip circles, more advanced balancing skills on beam, jumping, and leaping. Compared to USAG levels 2-3.
Advanced:
In our advanced classes, the girls will learn the most difficult skills within the Rec Program. The gymnastics skills taught in this level will be even more challenging than previous levels. The previous level's drills and progressions will become the basic warm-ups on events. This level will take many of the drills from previous lessons and upgrade the skills. Some of the skills that the athletes will learn in this level are back and front handsprings, back and front flips, kip drills, leaps, jumps, and more. Compared to USAG level 3.
Tumbling:
(*Requirements to enroll in this class include the ability to perform a forward roll, backward roll, cartwheel, and round-off*)
This class is for boys and girls ages 5 - 12. Tumbling is a form of gymnastics performed without props or equipment. Also referred to as floor gymnastics, common moves performed in tumbling include flips, somersaults, tucks, handstands and handsprings. Some sports, like cheerleading, typically use tumbling moves.
Ua Koko:
This pre-team class is for girls ages 4-7 years old. To be eligible for an invitation to this class, we look for natural strength, enthusiasm for learning new skills, and the ability to be coached. Ua Koko practices for 2 hours twice a week. The purpose of this class is to encourage young athletes towards competing and earning a spot on our Level 3 team.
Pre-Team:
This class is for girls ages 8 and up. To be eligible for an invitation to this class, we look for natural strength, enthusiasm for learning new skills, and the ability to be coached. Pre-Team practices for 2 hours twice a week. The purpose of this class is to encourage our athletes towards competing and earning a spot on our Level 3 or Xcel Silver team.
Adult Class:
Join our Adult Gymnastics Class, welcoming all experience levels and backgrounds. Led by two experienced coaches, this class offers a flexible structure with the option to treat like an open gym or try skill-specific drills and focused training. Improve strength, flexibility, and learn new skills while enjoying a supportive community.
Xcel Girls Team:
Xcel is designed to offer a broad-based, affordable competitive experience outside of the traditional J.O. program to attract and retain a diverse group of athletes. For more information on our competitive teams please click here.
Compulsory Girls Team:
This team is for our competing athlete’s levels 3-5 with an expectation of more time in the gym. Routines will be taught and perfected in these levels. For more information on our competitive teams please click here.
Optional Girls Team:
Levels 6-10 are in this category. At these levels, there is a large time commitment and a traveling commitment for off-island meets. At these levels, the athletes are learning difficult gymnastics skills, their own routines on all four events, and conditioning to stay fit. VI. SESSION SCHEDULE
SESSION SCHEDULE:
We have four 12-week sessions for our recreational gymnastics classes. Payments will still be due monthly on the 1st of each month. Evaluations and move-ups will only happen during the last two weeks of the session. Students MUST be in attendance for evaluations in order to be considered for advancement to the next level. New enrollments will only be accepted the first two weeks of the new session.
We will have one week off during each session, but in order to coincide with school breaks, they may not be at the end of the session.
The tentative 2024 schedule is as follows:
SESSION 1: January 2nd - March 31st, 2024
SESSION BREAK: March 17th - March 23rd, 2024 (Spring Break)
SESSION 2: April 1st - June 23rd, 2024
SESSION BREAK: June 24th - June 30th, 2024
SESSION 3: July 1st - September 22nd, 2024
SESSION BREAK: October 6th - October 12th, 2024 (Fall Break)
SESSION 4: September 23rd - December 22nd, 2024
SESSION BREAK: December 23rd - January 5th, 2025
